Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do you service my area?
A. We service all of the Kansas City metro including Johnson County
in Kansas.
Q. What services do you provide?
A. We provide a full array of lawn care services from mowing,
edging, trimming, fertilizing, aeration and more.
Q. What are your fees?
A. Fees are based on area (size not location) and
services required.
Q. Do I
have to sign a contract?
A. Residential accounts never need to sign contracts and may stop
service at any time. Commercial accounts are under contract to
protect both parties interests and need to give 30 day notice to
terminate service.
Q. What is aeration?
Lawn aeration is the process of creating air channels in your lawn
so that air can freely pass into the soil and circulate around the
grass roots.
Q. Are you licensed?
A. Yes, we are fully licensed by the State of Missouri to apply
pesticides to your lawn. Our applicators have credentials with the
state of Missouri as well; the applicator’s license number always
appears on the invoice left after each lawn treatment.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, we are fully insured. Insured means that our company carries
liability coverage for personal injuries and property damage, as
well as workers' compensation insurance. Basically this means that
if anything is broken or an employee is injured while working on
your lawn, our insurer will cover the costs.
Q. Do you accept credit cards?
A. Yes, we accept Visa & MasterCard as well as Pay Pal.
Q. Can I prepay for my services and is
there a discount for doing so?
A. Yes, you can prepay your entire season's services for the year
and in doing so receive a 5% discount. If you would happen to
discontinue our services for any reason, we will refund any unused
applications.
Q. How
safe are the lawn applications?
A. The products we apply are all EPA registered. They are used in
strict compliance to labeled instructions. They are applied by our
licensed applicators in accordance with Missouri state laws.
Q. Do I have to be home when I get a
treatment?
A. No, you do not have to be home when a treatment is made to your
lawn. Whether you are home or not, we always leave a sign posted in
the yard letting you know we were there and an invoice stating what
service was performed along with specific instructions for watering
and staying off the grass.
Q. Can I be called in advance so I know
when you are coming?
A. Yes, we can call you the day before your scheduled application to
let you know we will be in your neighborhood.
Q. How often is my yard mowed?
A. We mow on a weekly basis starting the 1st week of April and
continue until the season is over, usually mid-November. During
times of slow or no growth we will not mow your lawn when it does
not need it. |
